Beitang Village in Xihe Town, Meizhou, on the banks of the Zhangxi River, has a history of more than 800 years since it was founded at the end of the Song Dynasty and the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty. After a few rains in May, the bamboo forest along the Zhangxi River becomes more and more verdant. The seedlings in the paddy fields, the wild flowers on the hillside, the periwinkle houses beside the village road, and the villagers taking a walk... They all form a beautiful countryside scene, which just happened to be depicted on the boards by the painters who came to sketch to record this wonderful moment. 

梅州北塘村：古色古香，时局如画

漳溪河滨的梅州大埔西河镇北塘村，从宋末元初建村到当今已有800多年历史。五月的几场雨事后，漳溪河滨的竹林越显青翠，水田庐的禾苗，山坡上的野花，村说念旁的围龙屋，散播的村民……组成了一幅美丽的乡村图景，这些刚好被前来写生的画家们形容在了画板上，似有“你在桥上看时局/看时局的东说念主在楼上看你”的田地。
